There is, or was, a blues act working in Connecticut that had a similar "trooper car" with an Allertor (shell, no doubt) on the roof.

I do believe some UK Carter Sirens were imported to Canada, and I have heard they copied the design and made there own version?
They do sound identicle to Carters only slightly higher pitched due to the 60Hz and UK's 50Hz difference.
There is a picture of one on the Siren Archive.

Diefenbunker

There are lots of pictures on Flickr of Diefenbunker. It is rumoured
that they have 3 CLM sirens in their museum. There are two outside so I wonder if the third is inside the bunker? It would also be nice to know if any of them are powered and working.
