Cincinnati Area Sirens 3/8/09

Mon Mar 09, 2009 12:24 am

This is my video. They were sounding for a Severe Thunderstorm Warning conciding a Tornado Watch. Sorry about the audio quality.

They did go off a second time, but when they went off, I was in my basement playing Wii, but by the time I got outside, they were stopping.

I've never heard that 4/5 port 1000T in any of your recordings before. Do you know where it's at? It sounds a lot like a Hurricane.

I was at work in the parking garage at Newport on the Levee last night, and only heard the Cincinnati sirens once - around 7:08pm. It was even better this time because the warning didn't affect Campbell County, so there weren't any modulators or 2001s going off to interfere with the sound of the Park Place tbolt :D

That 4/5 1000T used to be that sick 1000 on Whitaker Elementary, but I guess the chopper burned out, so they just ended up putting in the 4/5 1000T chopper.
