Well, yesterday was a long cloudy day so I thought perfect conditions for siren picture taking.
So I grabed my camera & a tripody, & hit McCook County.
The Entire system consists mostly of Whelen Vortexes, with the execption of Canistota.
But Enough said ONTO THE PICS.........yea. LOL
This is Bridewater which has an 3T22 & a Vortex
I'm guessing they attempted to Null the sound in certain directions cause you'll notice the Modifications they performed EDIT: it came that way, it sounds like there gonna move it to near the nursing home Source of Data: Derek <= TANKS
Heres an Analview of it
I couldn't (well I could have) take a picture of the controls cause there was noone around to ask permission & it would have looked bad if I would have been caught.
The 3T22 is at the old Fire Station.
Here is there new siren (NOTE: the entire county recieved a upgrade of Whelen Vortex R series except Canistota)
Onto Canistota home of 3 sirens.
This little fella I found by accident
Heres the old siren which replaced the previous one
