Aberdeen has a system of 2001 & 612s, there is a 2001 on the campus now, & a rumored hurricane behind the fire station there.

We never had a hurricane up there, I'd know about it if we did (A buddy of mine is an EMT, I use to hang out at the fire department all the time.)

They replaced the old 1000t's in August 2000, but I remember seeing the one on the Northern Campus still intact when I left (in 2007)

They might have taken it down.

I know UNH (university of New Hampshire) has 4 of the Whelen WPS2907
The first one is right near the farm buildings right as your driveing up.

"Four WPS2907 emergency warning speakers were placed around the Durham campus and are controlled by the UNH Police dispatch center. The system can also be activated remotely from a portable case that Dean carries at all times."

Last summer I attended a convention in the Twin Cities.

One day the bus passed campus of Macalester College in St. Paul.
We were on street which goes along side of stadium. I could see a Thunderbolt mounted right atop the pressbox at this stadium..rather interesting sight!

When the system is engaged, a siren followed by one of 16 pre-recorded messages plays over the outdoor speakers. The canned messages include indications of severe weather, terrorist alerts, post-disaster announcements, hazardous material or chemical release warnings.
The canned messages? Never heard it described that way

Here's another Modulator at the University of Toledo. This one is located on the main campus at the West Campus Parking Garage.

I drove thru campus a couple weeks ago and saw one of the Sentry's still sitting on one of the buildings. I do not know if it is still being used or not. I wasn't sure of the location(s) of any other sirens on the campus so I do not know if the others are still there.

I was at Indiana University in Bloomington this afternoon, and found 2 2910's on campus.

On a side note: A small town a few miles north of IU junked a model 2 that I'd been eyeing for a few months that was on the ground. When I drove by today, no model 2, but a brand new fire station about where the siren sat.
