Hahah. Any West Texas town that has sirens for that matter. Dumas has the highest density, with 17.

Country Club Hills, IL has two 2001's less than a 1/4 mile away from each other.

Lol. I have to agree. I like the system we have here. Aside from the 2001 SRN in the northern part of the county, I think we have a pretty uniform system. Honestly, I dont even think the 2001 is active. It never really looks like it moves.

I would add the Beaver Valley Nuclear sirens to the list. Their system is basically a pet store, with a mixture of Allertors, Banshees, and I believe 2001-SRNB's. With over 100+ sirens in the 10-mile EPZ, I believe a few of the Banshees are single tone. As much as this belongs in the Nuclear Siren Systems topic, I decided to put it here because it is a pretty impressive system.
I love firefighting and sirens. Somehow they go together.

My map only has 188, and the only ones I can think of that would be missing are the ones that were taken down and were not replaced or were replaced, but the sirens are in Butler County's system(T-128s in Ross that replaced 3 1212s).
Resident of a county with big a mixture of sirens, but in the process of being replaced. :(

I'd have to agree, our entire radio system was upgraded a few years ago and all sirens got new electronics, and Olmsted county is always expanding their system to meet coverage requirements for new developments.

Third that. Rochester/Olmsted does have a very nice system with good coverage. It's also cool how they growl test the system every Wednesday at 10:00 AM.Austin has a decent system, but I think there are some dead zones. (I've never seen a coverage map so I couldn't back that up.)

Wow, there's alot of SE Minnesota siren enthusiasts popping up!

IMHO, Oklahoma City has the best siren setup. They have the right amount of sirens for the ENTIRE city, including areas that I didn't even know were inside Oklahoma City limits. They have all Whelens, and if you see a 2001, 2T22 or Mod etc in the area, those are OKC's suburbs. I read somewhere that OKC has one of the most technologically advanced system in the world...
Kicking it in the siren party since '08
