Mini Thunderbolt Rotator Box

Tue Dec 26, 2006 12:37 am

I got the Mini Thunderbolt rotator box slapped together today.
It needs a little adjusting but all the pieces are done.
It looks far better with a box on the rotator. Maybe
I'll get around to painting it in the next week or so.
The blower box is next.

Very nice work, Eric! I really like that bright, white color.
BTW, when are you going to cut out the brass sheets for the horn? :D

Never. The horn is going to stay poster board.
The rotator box is styrene sheet and the blower is
going to be made out of the same thing.
I thought about brass and even got 2 sheets of the
stuff. I thought again about the brass and then decided
it would be too much of a pain to deal with. I would hate
to make all that out of brass and then try to figure out
how to get paint to stick to it.
