Fire station air horn recording

This is the noon test of the fire horns in Dunsmuir, California. There are three of them, mostlikely Federal or Cunningham, but the smallest is not working. Otherwise you would hear a nice G major chord. After the blast, you can hear part of the wind-down of the three Model 2 sirens around town. If there is a fire call, the signal is five, four-second blasts with four second pauses on both the horns and the sirens. The emergency evacuation signal is a repeating one second on, one second off, which is fine for the horns but an extremely fast wail for a Model 2.

Sounds great , but my favorites are the Gamewell Diaphones . Something about that raspy sound they have that I like .
