Moore, Oklahoma Modulator 5020 with weird major third tone

Remember that recording that some dude had awhile back of this siren and deleted it? I recorded the same siren and it still has that tone!

Listen for: Whelens, Modulators, a Mod in pulsed wail, and a 2T22.

Is this the only three-tone MOD there?

It's dual tone, 17/22 frequency ratio. Somewhere between major third and perfect fourth.

I know I've seen a video of an EOWS 612 sounding like this as well.

Little Rock, AR has some Modulators that sound like that. A youtube user had several vids of one of them then they closed their account.

That one video that the guy posted was actually this siren in Moore. The houses in the video are a direct match to the houses around this siren.

If you notice, when it winds down it reverts back to minor third by the end. Strange.

I love it! Thats one of the best sounds for an electronic siren you can get! I asked in the vid comments, but just in case: is that tone custom made?? It sounds awesomely creepy - sure to get one's attention during a warning. I also love when an electronic siren has a longer wind-up or wind-down - makes 'em sound more like old school air raid sirens. This would sound so amazing in Attack!

This Modulator is great. It just has that eerie factor to it that other Mods don't have. The regular dual toned Modulator is ok, but this one is just tops! :D
