Now this is a good topic, for some reason a siren that is mounted on a water tower has always sparked my interest. In Symrna, DE there is a Thunderbolt mounted on a water tower which I thought was the coolest thing... it was used as an escape siren for a local mental institute. Please keep the great pictures coming and good thinking for this topic!!

The Model 2 sound was when Canton was hit in the movie. The Sterling wasn't seen in the movie because it was down for repainting. At least this is what Ian told me.
Kicking it in the siren party since '08

Are you sure that was the only part were that Model 2 sound was playing? I could of sworn that before the tornado hit Wakita when Aunt Meg steped out of the house and saw her chimes spinning rapidly that I could hear that Model 2 sound play again for a second before they jumped to the next scene where the team was in Canton finding out the same storm was heading for Wakita.

By the way, does Canton, OK actually have a siren?

That would be a Darley Champion. Adam Pollak has one that is identical to that one.

They are very small sirens.

I'm guessing this is a water tower type thing. Not sure what else it would hold
