There is a 2001-DC and a Model 5/7 on a water tower in Wakeman, OH.

Image

*The 2001 is behind the skinny center pole. You should also be able to see a brief part of it.

COMPLETELY forgot about that one! Statham (pronounced Stay-tum) has since torn the water tower down however, the siren has been relocated about a half mile or so down the road, at the new fire station. Across the street from where that picture was taken is Statham's City Hall, where a Vortex sits atop a telephone pole. Both sirens are active and controlled by the city, not the county. Actually, county has no control over sirens, they're all city controlled.

On a side note, I think I provided the first recording of a Vortex...and I believe it was in all 6 test tones. ...with a REALLY crappy tape recorder.

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but here is a siren that I am thinking is a Whelen WS-1000 in Covington, GA atop the water tower. There is also a pole mounted one in Rural Covington.

Here are some sirens I have taken pictures/video of that are on or near water towers.

One of Jones' Thunderbolts is next to a water tower. The tower is not shown in the picture. No video.

Image

The T-128 in Okarche, Oklahoma is near both of their water towers. The 2T22 shown is not there anymore.

Image

The Sterling M (16/16) in Calumet is mounted on their water tower. This town is the only one I know of so far in Oklahoma with a noon whistle.

Image

This Allertor (one of three) in Piedmont is near their water tanks.

Image

Not the greatest pic, and you can't see it, but this 2001-130 in Edmond is right next to an Edmond water tower.

Allen, OK has a Model 5 on their water tower. No video.

Image

Hinton, OK has a Sentry 40V2T on their water tower. Video belongs to Cory Watkins. I will be filming this siren in January.

This REALLY low Thunderbolt in Amber, OK is near a water tower.

I got to set it off!

(Didn't know what he said at first, I had hearing protection. So I kinda stood there retardedly. )

Image

Bucklin, Kansas has a Thunderbeam on the water tower near (I think) a Federal B. No video.

Image

A Thunderbeam in downtown Kingfisher, OK used to be near a water tower. The water tower was removed. This siren also replaced a Thunderbolt. In street view you can see a blower and controls, but no pipe or head. The mount is still on the tower in the image though.

That's all I have for now.
Kicking it in the siren party since '08

I remember seeing a Sentry 10V on a water tower in North Carolina. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures and I don't remember the town. Maybe someone on here knows about it.
