3t22's being removed in Reedsburg, WI?

I heard that these sirens are being taken down. As far as I know, they were the last of the sirens like that here. Does anyone know if there are any others left here that have that kind of tone? All I hear are the newer ones that have the higher pitch tone. Luckily someone bought the thunderbolt that was took down and has it in his back yard.

Yes they are being removed. Bill Nagler in Prairie Du Sac is obtaining them to be put back up elsewhere. So they are not going to the junkyard.

You referring to Reedsburg? If so we have two 2001's and a new T-135AC/DC. Other than the 3T22's and the Thunderbolt Reedsburg has no more sirens.

The city decided to keep 2 of the 3T22's and modified the 500 to sound for tornado's along with fire calls the 1 3T22 they are removing is going to Prairie Du Sac to be put into service in that city.
