Thanks for this. This is definitely rarer than a Hedberg siren. I saw a photo on this site of another siren like this elsewhere in a fire museum in the Bay Area, but nobody knew the manufacturer. I did not know that Heath built more than two horizontal sirens (one in San Francisco and the other in London). I lived in Pleasanton when I was very young but never heard any sirens.

Wow, that's a really beautiful siren actually. I like the base quite a bit, not to mention the restoration, which is wonderful too.

Pleasanton was the first town I ever lived in, but our neighborhood was too far from the center of town to have heard this, plus I was three when we moved away.
