I had a look and 4 of them say 1978. The other 3 are smudged so I can't make them out, but I presume they were from around the same time.

I tested them using a 9v battery, very impressive for their size :)

quite lucky to own a bunch of these, apart from that, i also have some. but thanks to you, we can now confirm the 50 volt minimite exists. just one question : is it a 50 volt ac or 50 volt dc version ?

It's a 50VDC version.

sorry for bumping such old thing, but i have minimites too, they look like this : Image, apart from that, they all seem to have the black label instead of red writing, they are all 12V DC versions. one of them scrapes the stator tho. and i dunno what happened to one of them but one is yellowed for some reason. finally one of them was even brand new and sealed. i had to literally unseal the original tape. but atleast they work good and that new one is in PERFECT contition. probably my favorite mini sirens.
