Unknown siren near Franklin, WI

Sat Sep 13, 2014 6:12 pm

Hey all, I was laying a track for my dog at Drexel Park here in Franklin, and at approximately 1pm, I heard an 8 port siren do one cycle of attack and wind down. I wasnt sure if a fire dept had an old model 5 or something or if it was another enthusiast having a blast of their personal siren. Anyone in the area know?

Intriguing...It sounded more like an induction motor driven siren, came up really quick to a defined speed then wound down. Could be wrong I suppose.
