This past week Jeb (Holler) came out to here to help me out with some repairs to the Whelen system. Before we took the bucket truck back we decided to have a little fun and make an attempt to remove two of the old remaining sirens here in Fort Worth.
The first siren is one of the Vortex units that had the rotator completely destroyed from 100 mph winds. I have to rebuild the rotator and replace the wiring harness and then siren goes back up to service.

Jeb and I then removed the last Allertor that was standing in Fort Worth off 28th Street. It lost the chain on the rotator but otherwise the siren is in great shape.

The last siren we took down happened to be a Old Thunderbolt that I've been working for months to get down. It is a Jail Bar Thunderbolt!
