You live near a 7000? You sure its not just a regular gas powered 2000? If so, you should get pix as this would be the first 7000 ever pictured in the wild (except for that short Kuwait news video).
But they took that down YEARS ago

I've got a few, some of these are super rare, others might not be so rare. I didn't go through my 500 photos of WI sirens thoroughly, just briefly...but here's what I found and what I can remember(it's been awhile).

Dual Tone Screamer

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v287/ ... ville3.jpg
Decot as a fire station memorial(pronounced DECK-OH)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v287/ ... kdale1.jpg
Decot without a housing

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v287/ ... tLake1.jpg
No idea, speculation, but not for sure

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v287/ ... ville1.jpg
Super Banshee

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v287/ ... Creek1.jpg
It looks like a Super Banshee with the top projection disc missing

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v287/ ... ille15.jpg
Soundmaster(I've got the brochures and some documenation on this)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v287/ ... ntown1.jpg
A partial Soundmaster...or else a Banshee variation
Waste away into nothingness!

only "rare" sirens I can think of are the 3T22 here in town, the 2T22 in Chester just up the road from the Whelen plant (both active, only T22s I know of around here, I'm sure there's a few more I don't know of), the M at the Hazardville Fire house in Enfield, the non functioning M-10 at the VFW hall in Manchester used Solly for decoration, and the one in another near by town's VFD i'm trying to obtain, the non active single headed M in the town near by the town I'm trying to get the M-10 from I'm also trying to obtain, the non functioning Federal dual headed fire siren in Portland on the new fire museum used Solly for decoration, the T-beam in Lee Ma (only one I know of around here), the Mobile-directos in Springfield Ma (the only B&N/ACA/ASC sirens I know of around here), a Fedelcode 2 in another nearby town I'm very close to obtaining (same one in my avatar i'm also close to getting a 12 port 5 from the same town), 2 WPS 2902s in the same town I'm close to getting the Fedelcode 2 and 12 port 5 from, replacing a 5T at their station 1 and a 12 port 5 at their station 2 which were scrapped  (only new Whelens around me, most are WS 2000s, 3016s, 2805s and 2740s), a 10HP 5 in Hadlyme (yes there was a 10HP 5), and a 1 in North Haven. That all I can think of. I'm sure there's some nice surprises waiting for me in the towns I have yet to explore.

You beat me to the punch....lol.

Conky? Where did the first K go? Pee-Wee threaten to sue?

Nobody wrote:The closest rare siren I know of around here is in Amarillo which is a System 2000 or 7000 (I don't remember which model).
Amarillo's old ACA/Federal System is on its way out...All of the Cyclones and Banshees are now 2001s...along with the STH-10s, 5's 2t22's and the few SD-10's they had. I'm pretty sure that 2000 is gone.

What siren company manufactured the "Soundmaster?"

Sincerely yours,

The company's name was Soundmaster. The blueprints originally came from
ACA (in a dumpster) and there was a whole lawsuit and everything. Correct
me if Im wrong.

If the blueprints were from ACA, another name for the SoundMaster was the Super Banshee, and I think only 10 of them were made. Correct me if I'm wrong.
