It's been almost a year, and since then, the map has reached 317 locations. Not bad for a western state. There are still some things that need to be worked on, and some areas that still need to be searched. Ultimately depends on if I beat Google there
Here is a list of the areas that need completion:
Tooele County - 37 installed in '93, additional 33 sirens were installed by '03. Many were removed in 2011, 11 have been located. 29 out of 30 sirens have been located in the county, and 11 on depot property.
Sundance - 1 out of 3 Whelens have been located. One on top of the mountain, and one somewhere near the cabins.
Hill AFB - residential system yet to be mapped.
Salt Lake County - 10 SD-10s installed in the late 50's, 8 have been located.
Thompson Springs received grant for new siren in 2016, has yet to be located.
Interlaken to receive wildfire siren as per 2022 annual hazard assessment.
