Thunderbolt 1003A help and pictures.

I have recently acquired a Thunderbolt 1003 that I was planning to restore. This siren was sold without a RCM3 panel and a broken rotator. At first glance from the looks of the butchered RCM1A panel it looks like the rotator contact is broken. However the gear that spins the head seems to be frozen and has teeth missing. I'm hoping someone here can help me fix it or give me guidance towards repairs. I was also wondering what series it is. Here are some pictures of it. Sorry if they are side ways.

If you are in need of a cam for the bee/boo I know where you can find some if you want to send me a PM. I don't think they would be very expensive either.

I have 4 or 5 of those rotator driven gears.
They are new old stock parts that were never used.
If you want one let me know. I'll let one go for cheap.
PM me if you are interested. If you need the drive gear I'll include that with the big gear.
As for age. From the looks of the RCM I'd guesstimate early 1970s vintage.
It's a shame the RCM is really messed up. No time delay relay. I have no idea what that contactor would do that's
replaced the AGASTAT. Looks like the rotator starter coil is blown up also.

It also appears that your auto transformer is taken out if the circuit.

I wouldn't worry too much. All of your apparent damaged or converted RCM parts can still be obtained. I may have a few parts as well for you, but I will have to do some digging.

I also have a couple new old stock pinion gears that go on the gear box output shaft and one used spur gear.

So after a full day of getting no where with it I decided to take the pulley for the blower to oil and lubricate everything properly and check on the state of the blower chassis. I found that on the motor pulley, the outer band had a crack in it.

Zoom in to see clearly

You have to zoom in to see the crack unfortunately. As far as getting them off the manual is kinda confusing about how to to take them off. Any suggestions? Also what series blower is it if anyone has a clue?

Also if you need new belts for the blower, holler gave a list of the belts needed for the different types of blowers in the post "Siren parts".
Thought I would post this since it might help someone else. I recently had to buy belts for two Thunderbolts, and here are the part numbers and prices*.

A2 series blower, (5M), three belt: part #: B48 $12.00 each
A2 series blower (4M), three belt: part #: B54 $13.95 each (price approximate, industrial only belt)
C series blower, two belt: part #: 3VX560 $15.72 each (price approximate, industrial only belt)

Rotator drive belt (all models) part #: 4L320 $5.95 each (industrial/ power equipment belt)

I recommend buying belts from NAPA or a reputable industrial belt supplier. Most auto part stores don't carry the industrial only belts and will give you the wrong one every time.
Here is the post by the way if you want to try find some parts for your Thunderbolt. https://www.thesirenboard.com/forums/vi ... t=kill+you. Hope this helped! Image

Thank you again! Does anyone know where the actual pulley can be found on the motor side?
