The Siren Board

So I was playing Black Mesa (a fan based remake of Half-Life) and lo and behold there's an STH10 in attack. This was not there in previous versions (I last played about a year and a half ago). There must be a siren enthusiast on the dev team at Crowbar Collective. Hopefully someone can get a better shot (or video), I had to suicide several times to get this screenshot.

I played that game when it was in beta!! I never know it was there.

I was fairly surprised they decided to go to that length for a warning siren in a game. I think they used a 2001 recording of sorts since I can tell the siren is rotating in the audio.

It's only been added in the past year or so, it wasn't there the first couple of times I played it.

I think it's a well made port and update from the old Half Life. It looks spiffy with those texture reskins.

The siren makes more cameos throughout the game, including this double whammy.

Looks like half a xT22.

Time to port it to some of my CS:S maps
