My Fully Restored Model 5 siren

Wed Nov 16, 2016 10:54 pm

Fully restored!!! New bolts, cleaned motor, new wires, and brand new 3 layers of rust resistant paint!! I did all the paint, and my dad made the platform.

Looks brand new! Great job. How did you take off the old paint?
Proudly own a Edwards Model E, a Federal Enterprises Model 2, and a semi butched Thunderbolt 1003A converted to "B". Possibly a 3T22 soon.

That's what I am using on my 2T22. It takes forever but the outcome is totally worth it. As I've said before, that restore looks awesome!

Nice. Guess that is the best way to go without sandblasting it.
