Parker and Midway 4008 in Plano, TX

This is one of the first sirens that ever got me into this hobby. It is being replaced in a month or two because it got struck by lighting. Below is a pic of the siren without its back.

The one on Jupiter just north of Plano pkwy has already been replaced. Sad to see that happen. Last wednesday i was at our building over on 10th street up on a scissor lift messing with a heater. I was about 20 feet away from a 100hp ingersoll rand nirvana compressor running at 50% load and I'll be dipped if i didn't hear the noon test in there. I wasn't even thinking about it. I heard the sirens in that building in those surroundings and thought. "Oh siren test today and i can hear it in here, wow!"
