Well, they have no more info, but they did send me a 2001-dc manual.

I heard there was a rumor that they also mounted the blower vertical on the pole to keep it from tipping only I don't see how that would keep the pole from tipping.

That was never a rumor or true. The blower was the same as the C-Series model, but the entire frame was 10" shorter than the C-series. It was 46x33x26 opposed to the older 56x33x26 size. I think Federal had a mild obsession with cubes eh?

Make it more cube! Cube=future. Everything should be a cube to make everything cube like.

Excuse me, I made a mistake. It was 8 inches not 10 and the entire blower was a different size. My apologies.

Here is a quote from Jeff Morris:
"Other changes included cutting material out of the blower frame and shorting it by 8 inches, fabricating a smaller box covering for the compressor to lower the weight of the unit overall... "
