Thought I'd start a thread for sharing Hoosier test day videos from Tuesday. Mine are below. There's more info in each video description. Enjoy!

While Brad was at the East Side Thunderbolt in Logansport, I went to the downtown Model 5T that Bill was also at. Pretty healthy sounding siren and luckily the County wants to keep the older sirens around. Look for the Evening Drill Video later this evening from Crawfordsville.

For the morning drill we tried a 7V8 in Knox. Either both of the Knox sirens failed (the 7V8 and an STH-10) or the dispatcher who ran the test didn't know what he was doing. I'm leaning towards the latter.

For the evening test I decided to try the new 7V8 in Elkhart county, located at the Osolo Township fire station. As of now the only time the siren is tested is on SWA. The test was over 10 minutes early, so I missed a fraction of the wind up.

As for Logansport's system, from what I'm able to piece together, only the 2001s at Fairview Park and Bishop Park run for three minutes. Everything else stops after a minute.

The Cass County EMA director said that many of his spotters reported the differences in activation length to him during the tests and he's now looking into re-timing all of the sirens in the county to sound for the same amount of time. Not sure whether that's for 3 minutes or 1 minute, hopefully the former.
