So around 8:20 I hear a faint ghost sounding noise and quickly realize Frisco's impressive ATI's were going off in wail. I was impressed for I am about 1.5 miles from Frisco. Also, you can hear one of the seven 2001-SRNBs from The Colony's system and the infamous 508 that replaced the P-50. Seems Frisco does a full 3 minute activation in wail for hail (haha that rhymes) and The Colony does 30 second attack signal for hail. Still better than nothing. A piece of hail struck me in the foot! Video will be up soon. :2001:

Those storms had rotation too so it could have been a radar inticated tornado warning. I'm watching all the lightning to the north of me, really impessive. Not a drop here on the east side of the metroplex. Got lucky this time.

Frisco has WPS 2910s and 4004s along with the HPSS32s. Almost all of the HPSS32s have a 2910 or 4004 within a mile away, so chances are you were hearing one of the Whelens rather than an ATI.

No, I could tell it was an ATI by the tone. It sounded slower than the Whelens. I have an ATI about 1.2-1.5 miles from me. The nearest Whelen is probably 2-2.5 miles from me. I'll post that video this evening.
