So would I... As far as I know, the only ones I've read about were the ones at the San Onofre nuclear plant here in SoCal. If they built those, then I have the feeling that there were others :wink:

That thing is an E57 siren; it is not pneumatic, and it is German.

That is what I thought as well. Someone in Japan doesn't know their warning sirens. :(

Come to think of it, I believe Sentry used Toshiba motors several years ago in their sirens. I can remember some of their older literature mentioning this fact. :D Given the fact that Toshiba is famous for producing highly-dependable products, it would only make sense for Sentry use their high-quality motors.
