Sirens near Freeway.

Thu Oct 04, 2007 11:58 pm

AS I was driving East on I-94 I stopped at the rest stop just east of Helmer Rd. and saw this siren behind the building.

Then when I got onto M-14 I stopped at Ridge Rd. For the Thunderbolt there.

This Plymouth area T-Bolt is Not Yellow, but looks like Flat orange.
It may be the original color, since the ID tags are not painted over or on.
Or someone took their time painting it.

Wow! Looks like we found a smaller version of the ATI rotating siren. Cool.

Well, considering the integrity of the rest of ATIs systems and installations overall, I'd say...It probably isn't that great like the rest of their theirs.

If there were the 2 and 4 horn rotating sirens, did they also make 1 and 3 horned sirens as well? :?:

That is one of the sirens for the Susquehanna Steam Power Plant (Nuclear) out of Berwick, Pa. They are replacing all of thier Thunderbolts with those rotating ATI sirens.... I would be curious to see how they sound. If I can figure out the test date for them, I will go up and record a test.

That ATI actually looks kind of cool, sort of like a baby whelen.

The ATI looks like a Whelen skeleton.
