Hi,

Earlier today I headed over to MOD Longtown to record its siren. I had managed to locate an electromechanical siren on-site from Google Maps aerial-view, but what I hadn't realised until today was that there is actually an electronic (I think) siren on-site too!

Here is the recording:

Sorry, I got it wrong. I was excited and assumed that the first siren to sound was electronic because it was the first thing to pop into my head, heh. It was suggested to be a single-tone Klaxon GP of some kind.

The first siren sounds electronic to me cause it has that typical allmost squarewave type of sound

99% sure it's a GP6 or GP10, which both have a single 10-port rotor. They can wind up very quickly on a strong/stable power supply, as can be heard in this ambience/audio of a GP6 from YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qq85Qw5kz2E
