I've heard 1963 as an exact year that gets thrown around, apparently the whole system replaced a single Chrysler and fire sirens. It's definitely sometime in the 1960's
Wait, Lansing had a Chrysler? I didn't even know that! where would it have been located?WillamsH28 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 24, 2023 4:36 amI've heard 1963 as an exact year that gets thrown around, apparently the whole system replaced a single Chrysler and fire sirens. It's definitely sometime in the 1960's
RIP the system. Served a good 60 years
Chrysler map says it would've been on the 200 Grand Ave. Building. The fire sirens were likely Model 5's and STH-10's. Stuff like thatGreenrid wrote: ↑Sun Dec 24, 2023 4:22 pmWait, Lansing had a Chrysler? Also, were the Fire sirens sterling, ericks, or horns?
