Unique Activation types

I recently thought of this when I was at a test of an EOWS-612 (it was dead. But I got a cool 2001 ambience) and I had my Bearcat out on the CD Frequency (155.055) and when it activated, it sounded really odd. It was like FSK but long and more alien like. I was wondering how many different types of activation systems there are

IIRC Sentry's S.T.A.R. system uses an encrypted DTMF string somewhere around 20 or 30 digits long. I've only heard it once in a video, its quite unusual sounding.
