Yeah, that looks the same to me.

I've heard it referred to as a product of CLM Industries. I'd actually be interested if anybody knows anything about these as well. What's the Allertor-like protrusion on the top for? Were these actually electronic or was that movie magic that turned it into a loudspeaker for Jake and Elwood to use?

As I understand it, they were originally designed to be single-tone sirens, but were modified with an added rear rotor because Canadian regulations required dual-tone sirens for civil defense purposes. I believe that they have a 10/12 ratio and sound like a 2T22, but I don't know which rotor is which. Basically, it's a rotating Carter siren with horns.

So might the siren in this video be the same one?

Sounds consistent with what you're saying. And in the description, it says it sounds like a 500AT or a Carter...or maybe this CLM Industries siren?

That's a fake video with a sound clip that's been on airraidsirens.com for years.

Yeah, it sounded a little suspect to me, but it was worth checking anyway.

Here is a new video from a little town in British Columbia. I don't know exactly what kind of siren it is, but it could well be one of these sirens. The windup it too slow for an XT22, so my guess is either a 500AT, an old WWII Carter/Nelson/Klaxon (some of which were imported to Canada), or the CLM.

I have been reading around that the CLM sirens were disconnected some time ago all in which really sucks because it would be a rare find.
