The Siren Board

Today's test was interesting! They did a growl right at 12:00 noon, and did 3 minutes of alert starting at 12:01.

The Calhoun Hall T-128 is working again, which I wasn't expecting, because I never saw the position change after it failed in October.

I decided to do a three in one today. Fort Wayne IN Paulding OH and now im in Adams County IN for a 130. Ft Wayne I nabbed a 2016, Pauldng a 1000

I was in School and heard the airport STH-10 and Hebron Fire Dept's 2001-DC. I rarely hear the STH but it was a very clear day.

I was surprised at how clear the T-128's were. I was in a class with one small window, and I heard two T-128's very clearly, even with some background noise. They are 1/4 to 3/4 of a mile away.

Out of curiosity where is the siren at the airport?

FYI I am still waiting for Cincinnati to get their finger out to take ownership. Should know more shortly.

There are multiple sirens at the airport: 2 STH-10's, one near the cell phone lot and another on Loomis Road, and 2 RSH-10's, one on top of a terminal out in the middle of the tarmac and another behind a building on Airfield Drive.

The Oak Hills High School Thunderbolt 1000T has been removed.

I was out on the west side of town Pokemon hunting last week and saw 4 sirens:

T-128 at Mt. Echo Park
T-128 on Delhi just west of Roebling
SD-10 on Van Engineering (Delhi a little further west of Roebling - the T-128 was obviously the replacement for this)
SD-10 at Fairbanks and US-50

Is there a replacement for that last SD-10? If so, where is it? I'm not all that familiar with that area of Cincinnati and I didn't have time to drive around hunting for it.

I don't believe that one has a replacement. The T-128 at Mt. Echo Park should be close enough to cover that area.

Good news! Everything was approved today and the Thunderbolt at Kellogg on the water tower will be coming down in the near future if anyone wants pictures.
