Very likely just fixing the head without doing it on the pole, or getting a new head altogether

I took a closer look on my way home. It looks like the head may have fallen off of the pole and split the top of the pole. Down at the bottom, there was some caution tape blocking a small area around the pole.

So is Hamilton County, OH turning into SJC or something?

Maybe ANS forgot to tighten the nuts on the pole mount similar to the one at Nixon and Vine.

I took some pictures of the Greenhills T-128 pole yesterday. Looks like a car might have hit it. The caution tape is gone. So far, this seems to be the worst thing that happened with an ANS installation around here.

What happened to the head?

It supposedly fell off of the pole, probably when a car hit it, because it most likely wasn't attached properly.

From what I can tell, Hamilton County's test today was just a growl at noon, and nothing else?

UPDATE: Looks like the staff member who was supposed to test them made a mistake, probably by hitting the growl button instead of alert.

Sorry for all of these consecutive posts... but this old picture from a Ray St. Clair Roofing commercial shows the Mt. Airy 1000 peeking out! Photo could be from as early as 1954.
