The Siren Board

Im whaching Tora Tora Tora. and right affter they spot the sub sneeking into the port they sound adeepcharge siren. sounds allmost steam powered due to the quick rev up. any one know if this siren is still made or what type it is.?

Do you mean the General Quarters alarm on the destroyer Ward? I don't know, and I've wondered about it. I don't know how a siren woujd make that noise.

Yeah I couldnt rember the name of the ship. I wounder if its a horn.
