Wow! That's lower than the Big Rapids TBolt! That's the lowest pitched TBolt I've ever heard. Is that the same one you filmed last time, or is that the other one?

I can't hear the blower, but it could be one of those C series blowers that supercharged the rare 130 DB version of the Thunderbolt 1000. That could explain this one's extremely low pitch.

Sounds like the chopper motor might not be getting enough current for some reason. Most Thunderbolts seem to take 4 or 5 seconds to reach full pitch, regardless of the chopper setting. This one takes more than 10 seconds. The rate that it winds down seems normal though.

The chopper motor does sound a bit underpowered. They may want to run the chopper without the blower to see what pitch it peaks at. At the lowest chopper setting, which is 120 volts, it should peak about 8 or so semitones higher than it does in this video. If it peaks any lower than that without the blower, I'm assuming that the chopper motor is underpowered. If not, then they've got one unusually powerful blower.
