Sentry's new 40V2T-B

Wed Jun 10, 2009 1:17 am

Well, we just got back from the 2009 Sentry Summit where the ?Sentry Family? spent 5 days in Breckenridge, CO. We held round table discussions of sirens and new weather detection technology and some well deserved rest and relaxation.
The Sentry dealers got to have some ?hands on? time with Sentry?s newest monster, the 40V2T-B. This siren by far will be the loudest battery powered siren in production. While we were not permitted to let it rip due to noise restrictions in Breckenridge, (something about avalanches etc.) I should be able to post a video of one in the next few months. We can?t release the specs on this beast just yet, but I can tell you the wind up is incredibly fast.
Here are a couple of ?sneak peak? photos of the beast.

Hot dang! I can't wait to see the specs on this beast! Sounds like the T-135AC/DC may have some competition with an omni-directional siren.

Why not more projectors though? Seems the space between would impeed the distance of sound between the projectors.
