Ross, OH EOWS 1212 Test

Wed Jul 15, 2009 2:32 am

This siren has been removed since the filming, but here's a video I filmed when the radios got replaced. In the woods off Cincinnati- Brookville Road.

Check out the echo!

Charlie this was one of the 1212s in the system that I was telling you about. Originally chemical and fallout warning sirens. Elliot also has another video of the HOR siren in Hamilton. He was there the same day I was filming it too.

casue they're using that type of control box, prob cause it was offered for a cheaper price then UltraVoice, besides, the 1212 is WAY beyond warrenty prob so it makes no diffrence wether they're using FSC or ASC or some other aftermarket controller

The Fernald SiraTones still used the original EOWS controls. When Hamilton County absorbed Fernald's system into their system, they added the ASC remote RTU to monitor and activate the sirens and continued to use the EOWS control.

All of the Hamilton county sirens have the ASC RF activation controls. Even the Thunderbolts have them.
