The Thunderbeam rotor/stator/motor is exactly the same as an STH-10. To convert a T-beam to an STH-10, all he would need is a bottom intake and 12 horns, which I'm assuming he already has or is in the process of getting some.
It already has the intake on the bottom. The only iffy part is the fact that the ports have rectangular cutouts with round scallops, instead of having round ports altogether.
Unless I am misunderstanding you, I am almost positive that the STH-10 has rectangular ports with round scallops as well.

Oh, guess I'm wrong then. I had never worked on an STH type siren until this one so I didn't know.

Yes, the STH-10 has round "scallops" around the rectangular ports. Someone (forgot who) had a website showing his STH-10 restoration. Gone now.

The STL-10 had rectangular openings, though. No round scallops on it.
STATUS: Taking a break from ARS until late July.

Interesting. I didn't know that. Do you know of any pictures out there of an STL-10 without horns?

Watch the video of his STL-10 and that will show you an STL without horns.
