Sick sounding Kenosha P-50

The P-50 in this video sounds a bit sickly most likely due to a snow / ice buildup. This P-50, and several others that can be herd in the background for awhile after the last cycle, sounded longer than they should have.

Edit: This P-50 seems to be running normally now.

That is very sick sounding. May be the owner of a P-50? Where are you getting one?

Sounds like it's running on 190Volts the transformer maybe overloaded do to more people using heat in the cold Plus they never let it get up to full speed They should have run it for 3 minutes. in Alert

It does get up to full spead, but it takes longer than usual for it to get there. If it was a single phase siren, I would think it was bad starting caps, but I'm almost certain that all P-50's run on 3 phase.
