Nice recording. Does it sound like that because it's single phase, or is there something wrong with it?

I'm pretty sure it's single phase. It might be running backwards, too.

I'd Say it is 3 phase and the armature is Bad and had it on the motor a lot of the allertors in this area had bad motors

Sounds like some of those early 80's Doerrs that were pushed too hard.

The motor is going dead on that siren, too. Not enough to send it to the graveyard yet, but close.

Justin, is that Allertor you filmed the same one that's in this video, except this video has it in attack? At the end of this video, everything looks pretty much the same around the Allertor.
