ya the Timberwolfe's db rateing has to be 100 inches not feet. That thing is tiny compaired to the Q. The rotor and stator is smaller hince less sound pressure levels.

Personally I like the sound of that siren on AC. You could put in a diode on one side of it to run it half-wave...I'd like to hear if it affects the windup speed.

I do get these things mixed up.
Is there a site which has them all listed and identified?

That and the 3t22 doing hi-lo during run-up is the most spooky siren sound I have ever heard.
The 2t22 is the most frightening looking siren I recall seeing as a child.
Even today, as an adult who understands it's "megaphones", it still looks kind of evil.

I love dual-tone Thunderbolts (Robert, 1000T is dual-tone, and 1000 or T1000 is single-tone) and P-50's. Best horn: Gamewell Diaphone. Best vehicle siren: I dunno. Maybe FS PA-300?
