Just came across this on the siren archive and thought it was interesting:

Good to know there's other crazies out there, huh? ;)

Someone loves this siren. I'm glad they note the relevance of it.

It reminds me a little of the Andrew Corporation logo. (Andrew is one of the world's largest microwave equipment manufacturers)

I especially like that 1003 in The Siren Museum, with that big, blue "M" on one side visible.

That "M" stands for the Michigan football team, lol

thats not someones decale. That's an original thunderbolt paint job. I have seen that red thunderbolt symbol on a few 1970's t bolts.
In the 1950's and early 60's they came with CD on them.
Where have you guys been?

Alarmrepair: I grew up in a town with 70's era thunderbolts. I've never seen that decal, personally.

And your condescending tone on this board gets a little tiring, to be honest.

At my town they took bolt off thunderbolt and put thighs in its place. So now it says Thunderthighs!

LOL, especially if it's in front of a fitness club!
If your siren is a-failin'
Chances are that it's a Whelen
And if it's just about to die
Then it must be an ATI
