Sorry for bringing up an old topic, but I may have a little more information on this siren. There were at least two Allertor 125s in Lee's Summit that were both installed around the same time: 3rd and Douglas downtown and 1st and Murray next to a church. The Murray siren has been replaced with a 2001-130 as of last fall. I think there also is/was another Allertor to the southwest of downtown either in a park or a neighborhood. I was in Lee's Summit today during the siren test and I think I heard that one. It didn't sound like an 10/12 but it didn't sound like a traditional 9/12 one either. It sounded low pitched like maybe an 8 port? Didn't they offer some Allertors in an 8 port configuration? Also, I'm not positive that its still active and that's the siren I was hearing. I drove by it after the test and it is still hooked up and the power is on but it's been facing to the NE for over 4 years now. Also it has Federal Signal controls on it, could that be a clue?
On a side note, you might check into Oak Grove's Allertors, too. They are very old also and could be 10/12. Sadly, they are disconnected, I believe. One is near 6th and Broadway behind a church and a home and the other is in between 19th and 20th on Broadway.
