Spearman, TX Siren

Fri Jan 04, 2019 8:00 pm

I was searching on the web for any info on the Spearman, TX Thunderbolt 1003 and I came across this video that was taken on March 18th, 2018 possibly with the Spearman Thunderbolt 1003 in it. This is not my video siren starts at 2:02 it seems that there is a Thunderbolt doing Alert for a tornado
It might not be sounding Hi Lo for tornadoes anymore.
More info on this would be great.

It could be, but I also seem to hear more of the 2T22. They have the 1003, 2T22 and x2 STH-10. A lot of these small towns just push buttons until the sirens start up. That system is pretty old, and likely doesn't function as well as it used to. Towns in West Texas are either really good at testing regularly, or only test when they have a tornado or large fire. Can be very hit or miss.

Interesting I think those sirens are telephone ring relay activated also.
