New Intruder Alert siren.

Sun Oct 26, 2008 11:43 pm

My parents were out in the town with my brother and got each of us an INTRUDALERT alarm. Got the video!

Anyone else have a house siren like these?

No, unfortunly, we are not guarded by no security system. It does sound interesting, a video would be pretty neat. :D

They sound neat, I'll search Google for an image and links.

When I was in college, we had a four-day power failure, and an arson fire in the middle of that. The arsonist hadn't yet been caught, and since the fire alarm batteries were drained and the system wasn't working, students were put on night fire watch rotations. Everyone was given one of those "rape alarms" that sounded just like your Intrudalert. They are excruciatingly loud and can be heard a long distance.

Wow, that thing sounds and looks awesome. Your pretty lucky, anyway, congratulations on the warning system. Hopefully that alarm won't ever go off to warn of an intruder... :) Thanks for the video!

Oh, and I almost forgot, my friend has this 'Spy Kit' thing, and it has an alarm that sounds pretty identical, but not as loud. It was held on by cheap velcro and operated the same, you armed it- the door opened- it activated. It also told the time. But that's a simple toy, noting in comparison to an actual alarm, such as yours.

That sounds very close to my flashlight siren.
