Thunderbolt in movies

Fri Dec 08, 2006 12:18 am

The only Thunderbolt I've seen in a movie is in "Airborn". You can see one atop the school that he attends for a little while. Have ya'll seen any Thunderbolt sirens in any movies?

I have never seen a Thunderbolt in a movie, though I have seen it a couple of times in weather-related shows.

In "Forrest Gump" you can see the silouette of a Tbolt on a roof at the begining.

One of the particular T-bolts that I've seen was a 1000 doing a wailing signal for a tornado. Seeing a 1000 in attack is sometimes scarier than seeing a 1000T in attack.

The Thunderbolt in Goldfinger is so blatantly obvious you should get your eyes checked if you miss it.

Can we discuss something more fitting than "Seen this", "What you reckon about this?" threads.

It's really starting to get irritating.

I've seen a dual-toned one in Kentucky, going off as The Weather Channel's
Stephanie Abrams(*sexy growl*) was reporting, nearly 50 feet from the
thing. It was in Alert, then it winded down.

Also in March 2006, when she was at Springfield, IL. you could see the
clouds growing dark behind her. Then, the noticeable wind-up of a
Thunderbolt 1000T, which was VERY close, then she said she had
to take cover because another one was coming.
