Asc I-Force Siren!

Fri Sep 30, 2011 10:40 pm

My college has three of these guys on campus. They have yet to sound any alert tone but they do sound this chimes tone three times a day. They are pretty darn loud!

ASC i-Forces are very loud, but I do not like the tones they use. Might as well be an ATI :/ I'm not even a huge fan of Federal Signal's controllers. Whelen is a different story (I've heard stories of 4004s being heard more than 5 miles away)
What happened when Napoleon went to Mt. Olive? Popeye got pissed.

I always figured that a town with a Mod or an I-Force siren could do daily chimes at noon and/or 6pm, for daily testing that isnt as "obnoxious" as Alert or Attack, etc.
Viva la Thunderbolt!

Federal makes a very good set of controls, in fact if you pair an FC with a T-128 you have a really good siren.

Whelen is the only electronic siren manufacturer that has a standard tone below 600hz. That's the reason why you hear them so far.

Yea I'm usually not a fan of electronic sirens. I do like the dual tone ones though as they sound pretty cool. This is the only siren I've ever heard or recorded though so it was interesting

They do these chimes at 9 AM, 12, and 5 PM daily.

I kinda wish they would do an alert one day just so I could see how the "quiet" wind up sounds

Very pleasant sounding! Too bad they don't do an hour strike!
