1/87 scale 3T22 from Ralph Ratcliffe Models

Tue Aug 27, 2013 2:23 pm

Ralph Ratcliffe Models has released a 1/87 scale 3T22 and a revamped 1/87 scale STH-10. Both models now feature rounded out ends of the horns to give them a somewhat hollow look. The horns of the old STH-10 were solid and you'd have to take a Dremel tool to hollow them out.

An SD-10 is planned somewhere down the line, according to Ralph.

I bought several of each of the new 3T22 and STH10 kits and assembled them. Here they are with some of his other kits.

It would be nice to see some line up of electronic sirens such as the EOWS series for a layout. I guess Shapeways is the way to go?

Because everyone has $60 to spend on a miniature siren. I'll stick with Ralph.

By sticking with Ralph I meant I'll wait until he decides to sell them.
