Abandoned nuclear power plant with unknown 12 port siren

Skip to about 0:40. Some kind of 12 port siren goes off. I find it very creepy that the place is abandoned and a siren suddenly goes off. Has anyone seen this video before? The siren sounds like a model 5 or STH-10.
I have an unhealthy obsession with mini sirens.

Sounds like and STH-10 to me.

STH-10, Most likely a local fire siren. Still would make me uneasy hearing it while walking through an abandoned nuke plant!

Where this plant is is what i want to know, and how it still has power. Only reason i would see it would still be powered is to keep the spent fuel pools running cool. And since it's obviously abandoned, i doubt that's the case. Kind of a mystery in and of itself.
Down to a Thunderbolt chopper, still a few goofy flashlight-siren combos, and a Model L.

It's the former Shoreham Nuclear Power Plant on Long Island, located pretty much directly across the sound from New Haven, CT. The main reason those buildings still have power is because of the much newer gas turbine generating station next door, which uses the original switchgear at the old Shoreham plant to distribute its generated power into the grid.

This page should sum up most the info that you're looking for about the plant.

Either a local fire siren or a intruder alarm :D kinda cool to see all of that though!
Own and love a Thunderbolt 1000 and a Model 5.

I have many hobbies and interests. And I love them all.

Wow that's creepy! Is the siren the power plant's or a nearby fire station?
