The Siren Board

Hello, I was looking around on YouTube and found this promotional video from ACA produced in 1980. I thought the video was interesting and was worth sharing.

Done. Seen it. Was released exclusively on this board last year, after someone found the tape, who then put it up on youtube. the person is on the board as well.

Yup, it was me and SuperBanshee. We both got the DVD's from Jim himself. SuperBanshee uploaded the first video while I uploaded the second one.

Funny, this P50 that is mislabeled being located in Amarillo looks exactly like the prototype in the video, same mounting platform.

After doing research I don't know if anyone knows other than Hurbert Tate who took the photo. I found an old thread regarding this siren and people from the Amarillo area said that they don't have any P-50's and believe that the siren is located somewhere else possibly in Northern Texas.

Even if it was a siren in Amarillo that wasn't discovered, it has been likely replaced. A lot of their old system is still there, but 508's are slowly replacing it iirc :/

Hate to senselessly bump, but does anyone have a link to the thread for the original post on the video?
