Mr. Thunderbolt finally gets a siren!

Sun Jun 07, 2009 5:01 am

Was at my cousins for a graduation party today. Was looking around, and I spot a small siren on the floor. I asked about it, apprently it came off an old truck. He told me If I wanted it, I could have it. Score! We hooked to a battery, runs good, loud as hell! Now, foes anyone know what this is?

Thats an awesome siren, but unfortunately I have no idea what it is... :(

Yes, we ran it off a boat battery. And hey, no problem, we don't know everything. :)

Appears to be a Federal Model 28 or if that is chrome on the stator housing it could be a model 66. Did it come with a mounting base? You could tell what model from the type mounting base it has.

I don't think it came with a mounting base. I have to ground the siren to the base that's attached to it.
